1. About these terms

These terms apply to enquiries, bookings and stays at The Wild Atlantic Inn, The Square, Rathbaun, Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare, V95 DK50, Ireland, operated by Noel Malone ("we", "us"). By making a booking you accept these terms. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Enquiries and bookings

An enquiry through our website is not a booking. A booking exists once we confirm availability and price to you in writing (email or message) and any required deposit has been paid.
Prices are in euro (€), per room per night, and include breakfast and VAT unless stated otherwise. The price confirmed at booking is the price that applies.
The lead guest must be at least 18 years old.
A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The amount and how to pay it will be set out in your booking confirmation.

3. Cancellations and changes

Cancellations and changes must be sent to us by email or phone using the contact details below.
The cancellation terms for your stay — including any deadline for free cancellation and the charges that apply to late cancellations or no-shows — depend on the dates, room and rate booked, and will be set out clearly in your booking confirmation.
Deposits are refundable only as stated in your booking confirmation.
If we ever have to cancel your booking for reasons within our control, we will refund all sums paid; our liability is limited to that refund.

4. Check-in and check-out

Check-in: from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Please tell us in advance if you'll arrive outside these hours and we'll do our best to arrange it.
Check-out: by 11:00am. Earlier or later by prior arrangement, subject to availability.
We may ask for photo identification at check-in.

5. During your stay

Non-smoking: the entire house is non-smoking, including bedrooms. Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor area. A deep-cleaning charge may apply if a room has been smoked in.
No pets, with the exception of assistance dogs — please tell us in advance.
Guest kitchen: the communal kitchen and its appliances (ovens, toasters, air fryers) are available for guest use at your own discretion; please use them with care and leave the space as you found it.
Quiet hours: the house is fully soundproofed, but we ask guests to be considerate in shared spaces late in the evening.
Damage: we may charge the reasonable cost of repairing damage or replacing missing items beyond normal wear and tear.
Behaviour: we may refuse or end a stay, without refund, where behaviour is abusive, unlawful, or puts other guests, staff or the property at risk.
Only registered guests may stay overnight. Room occupancy must not exceed the number booked.

6. Parking and belongings

Free public parking is available nearby. Parking is at the vehicle owner's risk.
Please look after your valuables. Except where the law provides otherwise, we are not responsible for loss of or damage to guests' belongings unless caused by our negligence.

7. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Irish law. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking, and we are not liable for events outside our reasonable control (e.g. utility failures, extreme weather, public restrictions).

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. These terms were last updated on the date shown above.
